What is an odour control program?
An odour control program is a planned cleaning procedure that utilises an odour counteractant with non-conflicting fragrances to neutralise odours in a given area. The best odour control programs are made up of a range of products that work together to achieve the goal of odour elimination.
TIP: It is important that you use the same scent across the product ranges as conflicting scents can sometimes be worse than the original smell.
The most effective method of odour control is a process called odour neutralisation. This process usually combines fragrance materials with chemical compounds to provide immediate and long-term odour control. The fragrance materials usually mask the bad odour for a short time while the chemical compounds change the molecular structure of the bad smell which eliminates it permanently.

2 – Source Removal
Use a digester to remove the odour at the source. A digester is designed to be applied and left to dry in the air.
3 – Fixture Care
Add fixtures to urinals and clips to facilities to help reduce odours. These screens contain 15 times more fragrance than traditional urinal screens and are designed to help prevent the drain from being blocked.
4 – Air Care
Include air fresheners in the room, passive air fresheners are an environmentally friendlier alternative to aerosols and can last up to 3 months.
